The Creatures of Leiso
Vampires
In Leiso, these creatures are quite different from the fabled ones in the Human World. These vampires don't do anything the HW (aka Human Worlder) ones do. They are more like humans. More innocent, also. All of them have a fang on the left side of their mouths. They do transform into bats, but it is a tiresome process.
On the other hand, Joseph is different from the vampires in Leíso, as he has wings that he was born with. The other vampires only have wings when they turn into bats. Plus, these vampires can be in the light.
Bloodpires
These creatures have a fang on the right side of their mouths. They, too, can survive in the sunlight. They transform into bats, but the bats they turn into are larger than their vampire counterparts. Bloodpires lean more toward evil, whereas vampires are more neutral–and, unless turned, prefer what is good. Glazhier is a bloodpire who despises all that is good and, after his encounter with Joseph, is trying to get rid of him and won't stop at anything to do so.
Light Magicians
They serve Elome and Elome alone. They are shunned by many, as people fear them for the powers they possess.
Dark Magicians
They serve the Vile One. They are cunning and wish only to wreak havoc where they can. The Dark Magician will react without hesitation if anyone tries to stop them or the Vile One.
Demolics
Demon-like creatures that demolish anything and anyone on-sight. They serve the Vile One and the Vile One only.
Diathlotts (aka dimension-jumpers)
Crafty individuals who have lived in Ithara for thousands of years. No one knows where they originated. They can travel through dimensions, especially at high speeds. Several of them were troublemakers and delighted in tricking kings and merchants. The good ones were attacked by the troublesome ones and either destroyed or banished.
