The fate of the Human World and Ithara hang in the balance as Riley prepares to battle the Vile One. Unfortunately, Riley doesn’t possess enough magic of his own to survive, much less win, requiring Dorobonn to transfer his own power to Riley.  There is no other choice; only a human can turn back the magic from the Human World.

 However, that leaves Dorobonn trapped in Arlock . . . and vulnerable to his brother Iradocc’s resentment and hatred.  When Dorobonn discovers a parchment that holds the secret to saving both worlds, Dorobonn must find a way to get it to Riley.  But without his magic, Dorobonn entrusts the wrong person to deliver the message.

As he comes under attack, Riley is intent on saving the Human World with the help of his friends and a surprising ally.  But the Dark Magic is strong, and the enemy will do anything to defeat Riley, including turning those closest to him against him.  Only the power of love and forgiveness can banish the Dark Magic once and for all.  But can Riley—and Dorobonn—find it in their hearts to forgive those who’ve betrayed them?
