“If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.”

My favorite movies are Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Sing 2, Spider-Man: Far From Home, The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe, Coco, The Super Mario Bros Movie (2023), and The Dark Crystal by Jim Hensen.
I’ve watched The Two Towers and The Hobbit more times than I can count.
I rarely watch tv. However, similar with movies, I prefer analyzing scenes in shows I like (while being entertained). My favorites are Pokemon Journeys, Over the Garden Wall, the first few seasons of the “new” Father Brown, and the Smurfs. I’ve also started getting into Sonic Prime.

My favorite video game is Luigi's Mansion 3. I’ve played that game numerous times and have enjoyed it even more each time!
Some other favorites are Sonic Frontiers, Sonic Forces, Pokemon Sword, Pokemon Arceus, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Baldo: The Guardian Owls.

Reading, gaming, and movies demand treats. I love coke slushies, fried rice, popcorn, sour airheads, stuffed-crust pizza, macaroni and cheese, cheesecake, Ramen noodles, and Japanese Clear Onion Soup.

Sometimes I want to close my eyes and imagine. When I do, I listen to Christian, epic, Christmas, classical, and "Oldies" music.
I play the piano and I enjoy archery.
I love walking in the woods, swimming, and climbing trees. I grew up believing elves and fairies lived in the woods surrounding my house. They looked like the types you'd find in a storybook. My aunt's statues of gnomes and fairies helped inspire how I imagined the little creatures. Adventure is my way to go! Can I take you with me, in my books?

Now, this one’s hard, as I have several favorite books, but I’ll give you a small list ~
The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit both by Tolkien (I also enjoyed The Silmarillion), Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan, Laura Ingalls by Laura Ingalls, Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery, and The Sword In the Stone by T.H. White. As you can probably tell, I prefer Classics. I have many others I enjoy, of course.
Hi, I'm Amariah Addison Dixon!
I love reading, writing, gaming, traveling, and being with my family and friends.
My first book is A Star Appears. I came up with the idea when I was 11 and wrote it at twelve years old. That year, I knew I was meant to be an author. I am also a Writing Coach, tutor, and editor.
I vividly remember being at a friends' house. She and I were writing stories, and I found myself deeply engrossed with mine. The book took up four notebooks, and then when I typed it down on my mom's old laptop, it was initially 600 pages . . . until it was recommended I split it. So I did
After I grew up, that book kept calling to me. So I revised it and turned it into the start of my series, The Star and Cicatrix Legacy.
Fantasy is my favorite genre and the one I feel most passionate about writing. The places I've visited, the people I've interacted with, and the circumstances I've been through influenced my characters and their situations and inspired the settings. Join me, and visit those places and people, too, through my books.
I have an eye for detail. This helps me make sure my books are tightly written and flow into one another in my series. I analyze all day long, every day: character, setting, and storyline detail in books, movies/shows, and video games. These forms of dramatic storytelling inspire me in my writing and editing.
I want to provide books that are positive and motivational. I write uplifting books that don't shy away from Christian themes and truth despite modern society's pressures. I want to share God's word with others. I write books based on experiences—both good and bad—but always knowing there is hope. Remember that, though there are troubles in the real world, there are also triumphs.
